QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions:
-
How do I qualify for your programs?
You must be 60 years or older and live in Clay County.
Some services have a maximum income limit.
-
Can I receive services if I'm under 60 and disabled? Unfortunately, no. Our funding is earmarked for seniors
60 and older.
-
Can I receive your services if I'm on Medicaid? If you are on Medicaid, you must check with your
caseworker to see if you are eligible for in-home
services. We cannot duplicate services. However, if you
are not eligible, we may be able to help.
-
Do I have to come into your office to sign up for
your services? It's not necessary to come into the office. We can take
your information over the phone or refer you to the
correct number. If you sign up for in- home services,
our providers will call and set up an appointment with
you.

Do you know what our logo signifies?
The pool of water represents our tax levy fund and all the resources
which support our seniors, as represented by the lotus plant.
(Our original Board members took great pains to come up with a logo that
signified the importance of our program. Many thanks to them!) |
